Nikki only lasted 15 minutes in his costume. I also have no pics of the costume the boys made for Shadow... I made Shadow a grey cape and the boys decorated it with ghosts and pumpkins.Here is a picture of Ben with Ms. M (his teacher) who came to the party. You can see his new cast (red). He is so excited to get it signed today at school.
The party was tons of fun. The kids raced around, threw leaves, and compared costumes. Because the start date of Daylight Savings Time has changed it was still light when the kids started. They raced from house to house. The adults could barely keep and and we kept losing track of where our kids were. Nikki was having fun at first but after 1/2 a block he started to fall behind. He was pretty cranky by the time we rounded to corner near our house. Finally I took him home to hand out candy. Shadow, Nikki, and I sat on the front porch while Ben continued on collecting more candy.
I also have a picture of SOME of the trick-or-treaters at the neighborhood block party. I couldn't get them to all fit in one picture. I also took the picture from the wrong side so all you can see of Ben is his hat...
The Switch Witch brought the kids some Pokemon cards, figurines, and toys so they were VERY happy. The Switch Witch loves Butterfingers so she was a little disapointed by the haul. She did eat a Kit Kat for breakfast this morning. Or so I hear.
