Grave goods are stuff that helps people in the after life.
What kind of grave goods were buried with ancient Egyptians?
Musical instruments, servants, clothes, beds, earrings, food.
If you were mummified and buried in a tomb – what would you want buried with you for the afterlife?
Doggie, house, bed, some books, food, lots of food, some drinks, calendar.

Notice that Ben is not bringing any clothes or toys. He is going to be bored and cold in that pyramid.
He will need some very long calendar to serve the eternity.
