Bouncin'

This week I took the kids (and Ben's friend Laine) to Bounce N Bobs. I also got an email that an new bouncy place opened in Decatur. And then on Sunday we went to a birthday party at Monkey Joe's.

Where were these places when we were kids??

I remember the only time I ever saw a bouncy house was once a year at the IBM Family Picnic. Now it seems they are a staple of every small fair, birthday party, and neighborhood gathering. Plus there are places you can take your kids just any old day. 2 hours at a bouncy place leaves the kids drenched in sweat and exhausted. It looks like so much fun...

The times were different when you were growing up, more simple, and bouncy houses only appeared in the amusement parks.

We got the one from Dublin. We looked up Dublin on the map and the postcard is hanging in Ben's room.

I used to love IBM Family Days!

We had a bouncy house moment today. Chloe wanted to go to the bouncy house at Tokyo Disneyland and was presented with rules like "You must say 'I'm Sorry' if you bump into one of your new friends."

Katya! Jump in! Jump in! What more could they do than make you get out? In the meanwhile, have fun!
