Yay, Ben!

Ben has gotten really good at swimming this summer... a couple of weeks ago he decided he wanted to try the diving board but chickened out at the last minute. I guess he has been thinking about it for a couple of weeks because he begged to go to Emory pool yesterday so he could try the diving board. Ian took the boys to the pool in the evening. Ben went off the low dive a couple of times. Emboldened, he then decided to try the high dive! He went off the high dive 10 times. Unfortunately, Ian forgot the camera so no pictures.

Yesterday was a great day. Ian took the boys biking to Little Five. Ben biked 10 miles to his favorite comic book shop and got to pick out a book. Then, in the afternoon, the sitter took the kids to go play soccer. Then, after she left, they went to the pool for a couple of hours. By the time they got home at 8 they were ready for bed.

Sounds nice. I wish we would have diving boards at the beach.
I will check our little lake swimming place, but I do not think they would have diving boards. They mostly have them at the pools, too bad we did not keep Chappaqua swim and tennis membership

We got our card from spain yesterday- I keep looking at it and imagining the stroll on this little cobble street - it looks like a dream!
