Somehow this weekend went by even faster than normal - not sure how that was possible. We went shopping for a new cell phone, went to a couple of parties and BAM! it was Sunday night. How? Where did the weekend go? I don't know... Never enough time on weekends.
We did carve pumpkins... We'll decorate the house on Tuesday so I'll post pictures then...
Nikki went to a birthday party this afternoon. A frenetic magician entertained the kids. All of the other kids were squiggling in their seats, laughing hysterically, and raising their hands to volunteer. Nik was more interested in the noisemaker party favor he got than the magician. Every once in a while Nik would glance up at him with a puzzled look on his face trying to figure out why the guy was shouting and jumping around... He only really got interested once the guys started making balloon animals... Nikki wanted a pink pirate sword. :-)

Weekends fly by really fast here too. We had a perfect Indian summer day on Sunday - bright blue skies, bright colors of leaves, eagles circling around the house low, and very warm and sunny whether.It won't last long now.

Yes, wasn't yesterday gorgeous. The puppy and I met up with a friend and walked along the river in the late afternoon.
