Christmas Crafts

When Ben is sick he wants me to sit next to him all the time... so I have spent the past couple of days just sitting. To keep myself busy I have been making Tea Bag Fold Stars, paper chains, and Christmas trees from old catalogs.

Today I decorated one of the trees with glitter modge podge and stars (also cut out from catalogs).

Thanks, Magic Cabin, for all of the beautiful pastel pages you print.

I have also been planning to make Christmas cookies next week. I LOVE Christmas cookies... I think the kids and I will make gingerbread men, linzer cookies, and rum balls. Mmmm.

I'd love the directions for the crafts you made today. So darn cute and free. Would you either email them to me (Tami can give you my email.), put them on your blog or mail them to me (I think you have my address.)? So darn cute.

Hope Ben is feeling better tonight.

Ah, it all looks so cute. I recognize the chains - I use to make them as a child and put them all over the room.
I also made strings of snowflakes from small bits of cotton strung on the string using a needle

You can also tell people that you are an artistic director or interior decorator at the cocktail party.
