Today is Ben's best friend's birthday... so, after camp, I took the three boys to the pool. They got to swim for 10 minutes, then it was adult swim, and then they kicked everyone out of the pool because it turned out the chlorine pump was broken.
Argh!
We sat in the broiling heat for 40 minutes hoping they would be able to fix it quickly and then they decided to close the pool.
So now Ben and Adam are playing Wii, their friend Isaac is on his way over, and we are going to hang out at the house till the party. Not quite the fun afternoon we had planned! Oh well...
I guess the universe it trying to tell me to clean my kitchen. Maybe if I had cleaned my kitchen this morning like I planned instead of looking through my new school books we would be swimming right now...

It works even for those who do not believe.
I took an umbrella with me when I went out for lunch - and surprise, surprise - it did not rain.
