The new place is great. The furniture arrived and it feels like home. There is only one small, minor, teeny-tiny hiccup. We thought the place had central air... it only has central HEAT. There is only one AC unit; is in our bedroom upstairs. Of course it is beastly hot here already.... Melbourne is having an unusually hot spring -- it is going to be 96 today! Because of the shape of the windows we can't even buy window units for the place. Sigh... today we bought a fan and closed all the doors and windows at 7 am.

I was wandering if you rolled off this Earth.
Draw all the curtains down in the bedrooms during the day, open the doors and run AC to cool both bedrooms in the evening. And keep your bedroom door open at night. It might work.

OMG!!!!! Fortunately you've gotten used to the heat from living in Hotlanta but you have central air there. Hard to believe that such a modern, upscale condo in a climate that gets very hot doesn't have central air. Guess the boys will often be spending hot nights sleeping on your floor.
I just mailed something to your mom's for you to use next Christmas. Saw it and immediately thought of you.
