Once we got out to the reef we put on stinger suits (to protect us from the reef and venemous jellyfish): Donned masks, snorkels, and water wings: Got into the water: And off we went!

I love picture of Ben in the wet suit! Nic looks scared even out of the water. Olga
Poor Nik was really scared. The seas were choppy and he didn't want to go in. The captain filled a plastic tub full of hot water and Nik spent most of the day sitting in an improvised hot tub. :-)
The next day he was so disappointed that he didn't see anything that he got up the courage to actually go out.
