After a soaking night in Shenandoah we made a quick stop in Connecticut… to do laundry and dry out our sopping wet equipment (ahem… visit my parents). The kids, fresh from having fun on the rock scramble, had a great time scampering around my parent’s yards. The turkeys came right before dinner to check us out and beg for cracked corn.
It was great to just hang out… but hard to leave the company of family, warm showers, home-cooked food, and just hanging out.
