It's Friday! Hurray!

Phew. We made it through the week. After my long, whiny post things took a turn for the better.

• We had 3! playdates this week!
• It was fun to see Ben's class in action when I went and stuffed the Couriers. Ms M, Ben's teacher, has a funny catch phrase when she wants the kids to quiet down " W W W zip it dot com"
• Ian leaves on Monday. He is going to be working with a client where the dress code is business - suit and tie every day. Unfortunately Ian only owns one suit -- his interview suit!! So last night we went suit shopping... 36 short jackets and pants with a size 30 waist are hard to come by... we struck out at quite a number of upscale retailors until the really, really, really, really nice guy at Nordstroms sent us to Hugo Boss... hurray! Just a small mortgage payment later and we had a suit, 2 shirts, and 2 ties. Either this weekend or next we will have to try the outlet malls and see if we can find 1-2 more suits at a less breathtaking price.
• I think we are going on a date on Saturday!! The church near our house has a parents night out once a month... Our neighbor told us about it and I think there is still room... Fingers crossed...
