Nikki started this week at Ms. Alyssa's. Alyssa runs a small, mornings-only preschool out of her home. It is Montessori influenced (she works at a Montessori school in the afternoons) and very small - only 3 kids. Nikki was SO proud - he decided to wear his Diego underwear and lunch box in hand headed off to school.
On Thursday they did crafts, learned to fold towels, and set the table. Nik had so much fun and was so proud of the painting he made. This morning he was singing "I'm going to school, I'm going to school" at the breakfast table! Today they are going on a picnic to a local park.
Nikki will be going 3 mornings a week. That will be a chance for me to get chores done without a bored Nik moping around while I pay bills, clean, and run errands.
