While visions of sugarplums danced in their heads...

The kids and I bought a new tree... we found something even more garish and kitchy than the silver tinsel tree. It is a LIME green, holographic tinsel christmas tree with bright green lights!
The tinsel catches the light and shimmers with all of the colors of the rainbow. Unbearably tacky. Overwhelmingly tacky. To top it off we decorated the tree with gumdrops ornaments, candycane ornaments, and wrapped sweets ornaments. We are VERY happy with the results. Judge for yourselves... I prefer to think of it as my Kawaii Christmas Tree (kawaii is the japanese word for cute is used to refer to all those uber-cute Japanese things like Hello Kitty). (And, yes, that is fake snow on the windows behind the tree)
