Crabby day

Today was a crabby day. Last night we went to a community dinner at the Unitarian Universalist Church. We had SO much fun. Most of the homeschool families were there and all the kids ran around afterwards. One boy lent Ben his Ben 10 omnitrix and Ben has been beside himself with excitement all day. We also met some really nice people from the church. Afterwards we stopped at Target to run an errand. It was 9 by the time I got the kids to bed. BIG mistake. To top it all off we did not get out to play. (Usually we go to Glenlake on Thursday afternoons with the homeschool group). Today it was cold and drizzly so we didn't go.

Well... the afternoon has been a disaster. I thought it would be OK because I asked Lucy, our sitter, to come over so I could get the taxes done. Ugh. The kids have taken turns throwing tantrums and whining. I think we will have an early bedtime tonight.

Tomorrow Ben and Nikki are going to see a play at the Center for Puppetry Arts. I am going to use that time to get packed for our week at the beach! I don't know if I will have internet access so the blog may be going on a brief vacation while we go soak up sun and sand.
