New Art Program

We started our new art program this week. We looked at Courtyard of a House in Delft and talked about composition.
We introduced the Ebony pencil, reviewed how it to use it, and discussed how you chose what goes into a scene. Ben then spent 20 minutes composing the following underwater scene:

Unfortunately my scanner only fits regular paper and it was on 9x12 paper... so some of the edge is cut off... It is a rather elaborate scene involving sailboats, electric eels, fish, an octopus, submarines, and I-am-not-sure-what-else.
