Ironically, I was worried about the movie...

I took the kids to see Kung Fu Panda this afternoon. It was cute. I am not a huge fan of Dreamworks movies (I don't like rude behavior, sexual innuendo, and potty humor (think Shrek)) so I was rather nervous about the movie. I need not have been -- it was probably the best movie Dreamworks has made.

The mall, on the other hand, is NOT somewhere I would return. One of the vendors at the mall was BLARING a music player with a song whose lyrics seemed to consist entirely of "f*ck", "s*ck my d*ck" and "big c*ck". YIYKES. Luckily the kids were chatting a mile a minute as I dragged them (rather quickly) out of the mall. On the other hand, we had the movie theater pretty much to ourselves. :-) I am not sure a lot of families go to that mall.

Oh. And Ben was wearing his pirate bandana. I was hoping that was not the colors of one of the local gangs!

Oh, Iike it just fine when I'M watching a movie. I just am not ready to explain it to an altogether-too-curious 7 year old. :-)

Not appropriate music for a mall, to say the least!

Isn't it a sad state when you have to worry about not having gang colors on?????

Or it is a sign that you have watched too many stupid documentaries on the History and Discovery channels. See.... TV IS bad for you.
