So I get up, load up the kids, drop them off, get to the dentist early -- I am SO proud of myself for being calm and collected. I sit down in the chair, turn on my Ipod (full of short stories and guided mediations), relax. The assistant puts on the nitrous and gets the needle ready, I close my eyes -- and the lights GO OUT!
So I had to reschedule the rest of my dental work till next week! Sigh. That's what I get for feeling so proud of myself for being calm this morning.
At least the power went out BEFORE they started drilling.

You got that right! How awful it would have been to have been in the middle of it and then lose power.
That is so ironical. I know you hate dentists about as much as I do. And to get so composed and ready for once and get the power outage - did you feel like a Christmas in June?

No. Now I have to dread the appointment for another whole week.
