The first step is admitting you have a problem...

Hi. My name is Katya and... ummm... I guess I am addicted to The Saddle Club.

It started out innocently enough. At first I watched it with my son. Then I was suggesting he watch it when I wanted to watch... then I found myself watching it. By myself. Late at night. After the kids are in bed. And staying up to watch EVERY episode we have recorded.

Ok. I feel better now... Is there a twelve step program for being addicted to sappy, pre-teenage angst soap operas?

Is that the show on channel 13 about children riding camp?
We saw it here with Ben when he was going to Mascoot farm.
Not only he was able to turn the TV on (I have no idea how to do it, and never even tried), he was able to find PBS and we watch with him the show about riding camp.
I liked it.

Yup. That's the show.

At one of the piano dealerships Nik sat down in front of a 15,000 digital piano that had all of the bells and whistles and instantly figured out how to navigate the menus... Kids have an amazing ability to figure things out. The salesperson said he had to go to a training course to figure out how to use that piano.

Yes they do.
I remember, when Ben was here one of the first times, and you went to New Hampshire for the weekend, you told us that if he is cranky just put him in the car and let him play. That is what I did. He was very happy and busy for more than half an hour. it took us weeks to figure out what he set and re-set and so on in that car. I had no idea that I had so many features in my car.

Well, be glad you have boys... If you had girls, you could really get sucked in... Then again, I'm glad I have that "sickness," too. That way I just kick back and enjoy the tube time with the girls, snuggling and shamelessly being chicks. We like The Saddle Club, too. Katya has read all the books. We go through phases... "Little House on the Prairie," "Hannah Montana" (did I really just name those two shows back to back??!!),"Pipi Longstocking," anything with the Olsen twins as little kids...
