It's Official! It's Confirmed! It's Booked (almost!)

We are going to the Great Barrier Reef the last week in April for 4 days of snorkeling and some futzing about town.

We are going home in May. Mid-May. Yippeee!!!!!!

Top 10 things I am looking forward to (off the top of my head):
- 5 guys cheeseburgers and fries
- Not having to check the balance on 4 accounts and the time difference before I pick up the phone
- Reasonably priced books. Reasonable priced food. Reasonable prices.
- unlimited internet: rhapsody, youtube
- Camps and activities for the boys
- Did I mention friends??!
- Pancake breakfasts and Coventry Road!
- Watermelon, sweet corn, corn tortillas, flavored potato chips, snickers bars
- My house, my stuff, my dog...

How about adding central A/C?

I bet Shadow will be so excited to see all of you.

You have had a great experience and seen such beautiful beaches.

Wow, that's great, Katya! A visit to the Barrier Reef will be fantastic. Now as to coming home, yep, that'll be great for all the reasons you said but you and Ian and the kids have had a wonderful adventure that none of you will ever forget. I'm jealous. :-)

I am not the one to complain - I skipped my dinner tonight when I heard the news- but as far as the food goes, you might be coming to an unpleasant surprise. We do not have the quality and diversity of the fresh produce here in US compare to what is available in Melbourne.

I have to make a separate list of things we will miss such as the market and Tim Tams.
