Racing morning

Ben and Ian ran in a half mile race on Saturday morning. I thought the kids would just jog slowly -- they all ran like tigers were chasing them.

Ben was gasping for breath and exhausted after crossing the finish line. He ran so hard that Ian, who had to start in the back row with the adults, only caught up to him right before the finish line!

Unfortunately Ben had the same 24 flu thing that Nikki had last weekend. He spend the rest of the day feverish and miserable. Luckily this seems to be a very quick thing and he was better by Sunday morning.

After being cold at the race (we had to be there by 7:45 and it was in the 50's outside) we headed home to hot tea, hot coffee, and a little rest time before heading out for the day.
